Cookie Policy

What technical data the Site stores in the browser and how visitors can manage it.

General Provisions

This Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on orcneitlab.com. A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a website to a browser and stored on a visitor's device for a certain period of time.

Why These Technologies Are Used

The Site uses browser technologies to select the interface language and to avoid repeating the introductory screen within the same session. They are not used for advertising, profiling, or audience measurement.

Technologies Actually Used

NameProviderPurposeCategoryDuration
orcneit:langORCNEITRemembers the selected interface languageFunctional1 year
orcneit:intro (sessionStorage)ORCNEITPrevents the introductory screen from appearing again in the current browser sessionNecessary local interface storageUntil the browser tab or window is closed

orcneit:lang is sent to the server with requests and is protected by the HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax attributes. orcneit:intro is stored only in the browser's sessionStorage, is not a cookie, and is not sent to the server.

Analytics and Marketing Cookies

As of the version date, the Site does not use analytics, marketing, or advertising cookies, third-party pixels, or tracking systems. For this reason, no interface for consent to optional cookies is displayed.

If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced in the future, they will not be activated before the visitor makes the required choice, and this Policy and the relevant controls will be updated.

Managing Cookies

A visitor may delete stored cookies and site data or restrict their use in browser settings. After orcneit:lang is deleted, the language will again be determined from the page address or browser settings. After sessionStorage is cleared, the introductory screen may appear again.

Third-Party Services

As of the version date, the Site does not integrate third-party browser services that set their own cookies. External links do not mean that the linked resource's technologies are used on the Site; after following a link, the visitor interacts with that resource under its own rules.

Changes

ORCNEIT may amend this Policy following changes to the Site's functionality or technologies. The current version is published on the Site.

Contact

Questions about the use of cookies may be sent to contact@orcneitlab.com.
